SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

WEDNESDAY 3-18-26 --- 4:00 AM --- We will have all tractors out by 4AM this morning. We didn't get as much as they said we could, the snow was heavy in Oswego county all night. Right now, north of 31 has about 3-4" that fell quick. South of 31 is around 2" or less. The band of snow has weaken at this point. I don't expect many houses to need a second clearing. The sun might come out later today.

DRIVEWAY SNOW MARKERS:

The weather was looking outstanding there for a few days, but reality is back. We have about a full month left in our snow removal contract that runs till April 10th. Unfortunately the calendar doesn't lie, and we could still see snow this season, and we have had many large storms occur this late in the season.

We have seen a lot of customers removing their markers and leaving them for us to pick up near the roadside. We hope to announce an early pick up this season but we will not be able to do that until early April when we can be certain winter is over. If your markers have fallen down and need to be fixed, please let us know.

If you remove your markers before the last storm, we will not service your driveway. The markers are the property of BLL and we will pick them up at the true end of season. Please do not keep them or throw them away.

FYI, the warm spell has significantly increased sales for our summer services. If you need us this summer, we encourage you to book soon as our busy season is rapidly approaching.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

WEDNESDAY 2-25-26 --- 5:00 AM --- All tractors will head out between 5-5:15 this morning. Snow totals are in the 2-3" range. Snow looks to let up by about 6am. With the later than normal start time we should finish up around 9AM.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:
THURSDAY 2-12-26 --- 3:00AM --- TOMORROW'S PLAN: We have seen 1-2" of new snow blowing around and back into the driveways since we cleaned them this afternoon. We have more snow coming overnight. Most of the snow falls between now and midnight. We will send all tractors out tomorrow at 3AM. TONIGHT would be a great time to shovel around your cars, move them and push the snow away from your garage doors. We can grab that snow early in the morning.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:
WEDNESDAY 2-11-26 --- NOON --- All tractors have just left as of noon today. We have seen about 3" of build up in the last few days. It is snowing lightly right now, we will see what the next few hours bring. It's finally not negative temperatures, and some 40 degree weather is in store next week!

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

SATURDAY 2-7-26 --- 6:30 AM UPDATE --- We are down to just a few streets, everything should be done once by 7am. WE ONLY HAD FEW FLURRIES THAT LAST 3 HOURS. We have our drivers going through and redoing any town bottoms and the possible drift here or there. But for the most part no new snow means very little second round will be completed if any. The few touch ups the drivers are doing will last till about 7:30, maybe 8AM, then they are going home. Stay warm this weekend, it's going to be a cold one.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

SATURDAY 2-7-26 --- 3:00 AM --- All tractors heading out by 3:00 am. About 3" so far but the drifts are bad, wind is bad. Visibility is about zero, drivers had a fun time getting in. We will most likely be starting a second round since as of 3AM it is still snowing. The snow is supposed to let up to flurries, so we might not need to clean all driveways twice.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

WEDNESDAY 2-4-26 --- 6:30 AM --- All tractors heading out by 6:30 am. After a few days of real light snow we have about 2-3" of fluffy snow to clean up.

SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE UPDATE:

FRIDAY 1-30-26 --- 4:30 AM --- All tractors heading out by 4:30 am, about 2" or less of fluffy snow. We are starting later to give the town a head start on the roads. We will wrap up for the day around 8:30 AM.
