When I moved out of my parents house, I lived with a couple a guys that I still count as life long friends. Several years later I got married and moved to my first home and always told my wife that we should get a tenant for our spare room. She agreed with me.... then we had our first child to occupy that room. The dream died.

Later we found ourselves with 2 children and both unemployed. My wife told me she was getting a tenant for our spare room. We did not have a spare room, but somehow the children were consolidated into one room. That year we began hosting students in the UC International ESL program. People from all around the world brought perspectives and ways of live from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America to family and we loved meeting so many wonderful young people in pursuit of continuing their education. After several years we moved to a new house. Even though we could not still continue with the hosting program, we still wanted to continue housing a diversity of people from all around the world. Hot Rod’s Property was born.

The original goal was to continue hosting people from different countries that travel to America to get an education, but that was unsustainable. We expanded to all students. This too was unsustainable. We added professionals under our umbrella. That was over sustainable, so we added another property. Now it’s Hot Rod’s Properties.
