Some closings are about more than just real estate, and this one definitely hit a little closer to home.

I’ve had a very close relationship with Sherry for many years, so being trusted to help her through the process of selling something she has poured so much into meant a lot to me personally.

What makes it even better is the relationship I’ve built with the new owners throughout this journey. They didn’t just see a piece of property or a business opportunity. They understood what Sherry’s Lake & Bait Shop has meant to people over the years, and they share the passion for keeping that same spirit and continuing to run it with the mindset that has made it special.

This wasn’t a simple transaction. There were a lot of moving pieces, plenty of hurdles to work through, and processes with Clermont County and others that we had to navigate to make the entire vision come together. I learned a lot along the way, and I’m grateful for every bit of it.

One of the things I love most about real estate is that sometimes you get the opportunity to represent more than a transaction — you get to help someone hand off something they care deeply about to someone who cares just as much about what comes next.

It was truly a pleasure working with both sides and helping turn a dream and a vision into reality.
