Cincinnati is one of the best places to live in the country…hear me out:
You get a major-city lifestyle without quite the major-city price tag. Cincinnati’s median home sale price is around $296K - about 29% below the national average - and our overall cost of living is also below the national average.
For families, the schools are a HUGE part of the conversation. The Cincinnati area is home to some of the highest-rated districts in Ohio, including Mariemont, Mason, Indian Hill, Wyoming and Sycamore - all currently ranked among the top districts in the region, with several ranking among the best in the entire state.
But the thing Cincinnati does better than almost anywhere else…You can completely change your lifestyle without really leaving Cincinnati.
Want walkable streets, historic architecture, restaurants and nightlife? OTR.
Tree-lined streets, coffee shops and an established neighborhood feel? Hyde Park.
Charming, storybook suburb where everyone seems to know everyone? Mariemont.
More space, newer construction and highly rated schools? Head toward Mason.
Historic homes, local businesses and an artsy, eclectic vibe? Northside.
And cross the river into Northern Kentucky and you get Covington and Newport - with their own neighborhoods, restaurants, nightlife and incredible views of the Cincinnati skyline.
Then add in Bengals Sundays, Reds games, FC Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Open, Kings Island, our parks, breweries, museums, festivals, incredible food scene, concerts, riverfronts, farmers markets and about a million hyper-specific neighborhood traditions that make each pocket of the city feel like its own little world. That’s what I love most about living here.
Cincinnati is big enough that there is always something to do, but small enough that it still feels like a community.
It’s a city where you can build a career, raise a family, buy a home, spend Saturday exploring a completely different neighborhood and still be home before bedtime.
And maybe I’m biased because I get to sell this city for a living…but I think Cincinnati is one of the best-kept secrets in the country. 🫶🏼🏡
