Did you know having plants in your home can improve your mood and decrease your stress levels? It’s true and even renters can grow plants in their apartment.

Some things to consider when choosing what plants you want to grow:
1. Sunlight 🌞 - how much sun does your apartment get daily?
2. Soil - plants depend on their soil for water, air, and nutrients. For compact containers, well draining potting mix is a must.
3. Water - does your apartment have a water spout or will you carry your plants to the sink for a drink?
4. Humidity - consider your plants location and if it gets a lot of sunlight. It might need to be spritzed with water to keep it happy.
5. Wind - will your plants be outside or in a window box? Consider if your plants will need extra protection.
6. Weight - plants get heavy, so make sure your window box and containers can support their weight.

Herbs, Salad Greens, Tomatoes, Chili Peppers, Meyer Lemons, and Strawberries.
