✨ OUT OF THE BOX. ✨

That’s what I wanted when I dreamed up the then Sweet & Natural Fest—something that was NOT already happening in Cincinnati.

A dream of one day having a fashion show at the event eventually led to New York Fashion Week and even Fashion Week in Ghana. 🤯🖤

From AfroSwag at Sweet & Natural Fest to the CultureRush Fashion Show at the Black Culture Fest… this has truly been such a FUN ride. ✨

I also knew early on that I didn’t have the capacity to make both the festival and the fashion show happen alone—so calling on others was key. And for the last few years, it has been nothing short of magical working alongside designer and artist Alishia Lee of Me By Lee.

“From our very first conversation, I knew I hit the jackpot with a powerful, aligned partner for the fashion show. A real live designer working on this blew me away. And for her to be super excited about it just made my heart sparkle. She saw the vision and my heart’s joy in giving the community access to culture and creativity in this way—for FREE. This is the last year for this, but I’m so excited about how we continue to work with each other in years to come.” — Daphney ✨

Now join us for the FINAL celebration…
