Pics from a recent architectural jaunt in the Ohiopyle / Laurel Hill area of beautiful southern Pennsylvania to visit houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the most magnificent being Fallingwater (pictured).

In addition, Polymath Park is located about 30 minutes north and features a delicious lunch, followed by a tour of two Wright houses (Mantyla and Duncan) that were deconstructed and rebuilt on-site, plus the Balter House designed by Peter Berndtson, a Wright apprentice at the Taliesin Fellowship. Although we didn’t tour it, Kentuck K**b, another of Wright’s Usonian homes, is also in close proximity.

The FBO aircraft facility for Waypoint Aviation designed by architect Rob Fields of Ampersand Associates has become the Hottest Party Venue in Cincy. And why not - it sits over debris from a demolished college dormitory.

Unless you've been actively avoiding the Cincinnati event scene over the last year, you've probably noticed the airplane hangar that organizations like Film Cincinnati, UC DAAP, and the Cincinnati Ballet have been using to host grand, photogenic events.
