...and then there were three! Sage is excited to introduce you to Laura Inglish, the newest member of our team! We’ll let Laura tell us a bit about herself in her own words:

I grew up in Cincinnati and lived in NYC for almost a decade, some of that time as a rental agent in Manhattan, working in an extremely fast-paced and exciting environment. This was when I first started thinking about eventual rental property ownership.

Family pulled me back to Cincinnati and, with my goal of owning property still firmly in place, I started my real estate journey here. Since returning, I’ve slowly created a small empire of 3 rental properties (in Price Hill and Northside) that I’ve been renovating and managing. I love sweat equity! 💪

I now live in Northside, where I’ve actually lived off and on since the mid 90s. My mother used to teach at Chase Elementary. I love Collective Espresso and Morsel & Nosh. I regularly donate to the CAINCincy pantry. Chameleon has the closest thing to New York-style pizza that I’ve found in Cincinnati!

I’m thrilled to be part of Sage, reviving my long-time friendship with Ioanna and learning more about the local real estate market.

The Tusculum Street Fest is coming up on Sat 20 Jun and, if you’ve been curious about living in Columbia-Tusculum, this is the perfect opportunity to explore the community and meet some potential neighbors!

The founding of this historic community predates the founding of Cincinnati, and its streets are full of colorful 19th century homes. The many Victorian “painted ladies” are interspersed with some contemporary infill and condo developments.

The City of Cincinnati annexed eastern riverfront communities between 1855 and 1873. This enabled the reorganization of a number of separate street railways into a single company, which improved the area’s accessibility to downtown. As a result, in the brief period between 1887 and 1892, the population in the area nearly doubled.

Columbia-Tusculum retains a good deal of the architecture reflective of this period of fast-paced growth, with many intact examples of Queen Anne, Stick and Colonial Revival styles.
