So much clickbait and false information out there about the NAR (National Association of Realtors) settlement. THIS is a good opinion article if you are interested:

A little levity for a somewhat serious subject.

I’ve had several of you reach out to me asking about the NAR (National Association of Realtors) recent settlement. First, thank you for the questions! I appreciate that you trust me with your questions and think of me as your Realtor!

A few thoughts on social media and I’ll be sending out an email with more details. (If you’re not on my email list and want to be, please DM me your email address and I’ll add you!)

•Don’t trust everything you read in the media. This is a bit more complex and hasn’t quite been fully worked out. (And do we really think this will cause home prices to go down?? No way.)

•Does this mean that the NAR is wrong or have done anything illegal? No. This is a settlement to move forward and continuing to litigate just wastes precious time and money and ultimately hurts the realtor and their small businesses.

• How does this affect sellers and buyers? Only time will tell the long-term effects and nothing in life is without change. HOWEVER, I will continue to operate at the highest level and provide the best customer service at 100% transparency as I have always done. Sellers and buyers have always had a choice on how they want to be represented. Choosing a professional Realtor is important for one of the biggest and most important transactions of many people’s lives. I appreciate that I am many of your choices! We can navigate this together!

Definitely in a sweet spot! Inventory is low, but because there aren’t as many people out looking, buyers are in a decent position to buy!
