If you’re waiting for home prices to drop, I have bad news.

It’s unlikely.

It’s a basic supply and demand problem.

The supply of homes is too low and a lot of people want to own homes.

Right now there is little buyer competition with 7% interest rates.

When those rates do eventually drop some, the market will be flooded with buyers.

Prices are likely to shoot up again when that happens.

The days of 3% interest rates and $300k median home prices are long gone, never to return.
