🚨 BREAKING NEWS!!!🚨
A Major Change is Coming to Mortgage Lending & Credit Scoring!

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have officially announced the adoption of NEW credit scoring models for mortgage underwriting.

✅ FHA will now allow:
• VantageScore 4.0
• FICO 10T

✅ Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac are also moving forward with these updated scoring models.

Why does this matter? 👇
These newer models are designed to:
🏡 Expand access to homeownership
📈 Better evaluate today’s borrowers
💳 Recognize responsible payment behaviors like rent history
💰 Potentially lower borrowing barriers for qualified buyers

This could create NEW opportunities for many future homeowners who may not have qualified under older scoring systems.

As Realtists, this is another important step toward increasing ACCESS, ADVOCACY & AFFORDABILITY in housing.

Some of our Realtist family attended the Realtors at the Rotunda last week! Thank you so much for always pushing and fighting for change and equality. Closing the Gap!

Members of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati converged at the Ohio Statehouse at this week’s REALTORS® at the Rotunda event hosted by Ohio REALTORS. The event drew more than 350 REALTORS® from across the Buckeye State to meet with state lawmakers and address issues of concern to the real estate industry and property owners, including tax reform, housing development, deed fraud and preserving the integrity of Ohio’s home inspectors.
