📣The word is out!
We are beyond excited to announce that we have been awarded an $11.7 million tax credit from Ohio's Transformational Mixed Use Development Program for our Mercantile and Traction Block Redevelopment project! The project, which encompasses three nearly vacant buildings, could not happen without these tax credits and solidifies a nearly $132 million investment into our downtown urban core.
Upon completion, southeast of Fountain Square will be home to new apartments, a Kimpton Hotel, and 130,000+ sq. feet of commercial space. In addition to these amenities, Cincinnati’s beloved Mercantile Library will receive an expansion.
Model Group CEO, Bobby Maly, says this of the award, "It’s a big day for the center of our downtown. It’s a really big deal. Cincinnati didn’t win an award last time. This is a needle mover."
