Gilligan’s on the Green Restaurant and Brewery Coming to 400 Wyoming Avenue
City of Wyoming Selects EP Investment Group to Complete Village Green Transformation
CINCINNATI, Ohio, July 3, 2023—The search for the right restauranteur to occupy 400 Wyoming Ave, adjacent to the Village Green, has concluded. EP Investment Group LLC, today announced that it signed a 10-year lease on the facility with the Wyoming Community Improvement Corporation. Construction on the Gilligan’s on the Green Restaurant and Brewery has begun.
EP Investment Group is targeting a late fall opening to follow completion of the Village Green Pavilion Project. Gilligan’s on the Green will offer a new type of restaurant and brewery experience, featuring Irish and American cuisine. The full-service restaurant is designed both to serve the diverse needs of the Wyoming community and to attract customers throughout the region. The company is partnering with West Side Brewing to further develop their Gilligan’s line of beers, which will be brewed on site.
EP Investment Group launched its award-winning Ivory House steakhouse in Westwood in 2020. It opened W Bar + Bistro in 2022, which quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Aubrey and Zach’s Ice Cream – adjacent to the restaurant – opened in early June. The company plans to open Terrazza Trattoria (an Italian concept) and Paloma’s (a Mexican grill) in the Bolton-Lunsford building in the heart of the Town Hall District in 2024.

The opening of Gilligan’s on the Green will complete the transformation of our Village Green into a thriving gathering space in the heart of Wyoming,” said Rusty Herzog, city manager, City of Wyoming. “Both EP Investment Group and West Side Brewing have proven track records as successful operators and outstanding community partners. This venture is the perfect fit for 400 Wyoming Avenue.”
This announcement coincides with West Side Brewing’s sixth anniversary. Since 2017, they have grown to become the region’s seventh largest brewery, known for their expertise producing traditional styles and for creating a one-of-a-kind taproom experience. Under the guidance of on-site Head Brewer Ryan Baird, Gilligan’s line of beers will include Dry Stout, Extra Stout, Irish Lager, Irish Red, and several seasonal selections. Additional taps will include other West Side Brewing beers and West Cider offerings.

Gilligan’s will be more than a place to dine on a special occasion or casual outing. We envision it as a hub for community engagement.”

The Gilligan’s name honors the legacy of Irish Americans Martin Gilligan, Sr, and Martin T. “Bud” Gilligan – both relations to Mumper that resided in the Greater Cincinnati region.
Gilligan’s on the Green will feature a full-service bar with wine, cocktails and liquor, and a picturesque patio that opens onto the park. Service will extend to guests utilizing park seating. Pavilion visitors will have walk-up access to purchase DORA drinks and carryout food. The restaurant will have four private event rooms, with the largest accommodating 70 guests.
