Woohoo! 13 months after I met these clients and 6 months after they went under contract on a semi-custom build (which included floor plan modifications that had to be made before permit applications could be submitted) they have now closed on and moved into their new home!
Shout out to Stone Bridge Homes NW for their semi-custom build offerings! My clients were able to customize electrical components, landscaping, master bath components, (eliminating a tub and opting for a larger shower) and more. The most complex (and my favorite) customization my clients made was eliminating a half bath (because they didn’t feel it was a necessary to have 2.5 baths in a one level home) which then allowed for an even larger laundry/mudroom and this custom bar wall with a wine cooler and ice maker! Can you tell they love to entertain guests?! 😆

So happy for them and looking forward to seeing them around Canby now that they live here!

My clients were the first ones to move into the neighborhood and there are still spec homes (already being built) and bare lots for semi-custom builds available in Stone Bridge’s newest subdivision here in Canby (Dahlia Glen) so please reach out to me if you want more info on their offerings and/or my clients experience!

Our kids don’t get special sweet treats often, but when they do one of their favorites is pan dulce or another sweet baked treat from Oaxaca Bakery in Canby! They especially like the big cookies and my favorite is the empanada de calabaza (Pumpkin Empanada). 😁

Sunglasses and a rain jacket. 😆 😎Today was one of those June days in Oregon where it’s overcast but still bright and there are occasional rain showers. It was a great morning for a walk along Canby’s Logging Road Trail, which is a pedestrian only pave path that spans from the south side of town all the way to the north side of town along the Willamette River. The path includes a bridge over Hwy 99E.

P.S. I did not strategically wear my Oregon Shirt on my walk today so I could take a picture and post about Oregon Weather, that would have required way more forethought than I usually have when it comes to social media posts that aren’t conncected to my listings. 🤣e

Original 1960's kitchen: Preserved perfection or project potential? Share your opinion in the comments section!

One reason I enjoy hosting open houses on my listings is to gain more detailed insight into potential buyers' thoughts and impressions of my listing.
It was fun last weekend to hear buyers' thoughts on the original 1960's kitchen. One person asked if I knew if the homeowners were carpenters because the original wood cupboards seemed so well preserved. Multiple people commented on how much they loved the original linoleum flooring! Some buyers thanked the sellers for keeping it all original. On the flip side, as expected, there were people who said they would redo the whole kitchen, including knocking down a wall to open it up to the living room. So many possibilities!

An original kitchen and plenty of room to garden and relax are just two of 1960's features that this home offers! Call me for more info on the home! 503-954-7652

Wonderful sunny Sunday in May for a Portland Thorns Professional Women’s Soccer Game with my friend and 20,650 other fans! It might not have been the most exciting game (it was a 0-0 tie 😫🤣) but the atmosphere was still electric!

As a busy Realtor and mom to two young kids, it was nice to have an afternoon out with a friend I met playing soccer in college! That being said, I couldn’t resist keeping a close eye on my phone since I am waiting to hear back from another Realtor about a potential offer from her clients for my newest listing. 😆🤞
