Reminder of TriMet changes coming up on Sunday.

On Aug. 23, TriMet's MAX Green Line will be shortened to run only between Clackamas Town Center and the Gateway Transit Center, and a total of 33 bus lines will be adjusted. While some bus lines will be combined and others will be moved to serve more people, other bus lines will run less often at times when fewer people are riding, including nights and weekends.

There will be significant schedule changes, and some bus lines have been eliminated in areas where there are no alternative transportation options. Clackamas County will be adjusting the Oregon City Shuttle Route and CCC Xpress Route to help fill some of the gaps left by TriMet service changes.

To get ahead of the changes, riders are encouraged to visit trimet.org or www.rideclackamas.org and plan a trip to see what’s changing. Trip Planners on both sites allow you to enter your starting point and destination, and the planner will show the three fastest and most efficient transit options.

National Night Out has been rescheduled for next Tuesday August 25th.

ICYMI: National Night Out has been rescheduled and is now happening on Tuesday, Aug, 25 from 5:30 - 8 at the End of the Oregon Trail. Come hang out with your neighbors and the Oregon City Police, who put on the event, as well as other City and local agencies. There will be live music, and the rescheduled Movie in the Park Princess Bride after.
