Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.
The weight of trying to control everything.
The exhaustion of being your own safety net.
The fear that whispers "what if" in the quiet moments.
The burden of carrying tomorrow's worries today.
You were never meant to be the source of your own strength. Those sleepless nights spent calculating and planning, that tight grip you keep on every detail of your life — it's wearing you thin, isn't it? The world tells us that confidence comes from our abilities, our resources, our backup plans. But there's a different kind of confidence available to you.
True confidence isn't found in your bank account or your five-year plan. It's not built on your track record or your ability to predict the future. It's found in the unshakeable character of the One who holds your future. When you place your trust in Him, you're not being naive — you're being wise. You're recognizing that the God who painted the sunrise this morning and keeps the planets in their orbits is more than capable of handling the details of your life.
This doesn't mean you stop making plans or taking action. It means you hold those plans with open hands, knowing that your security doesn't depend on them going perfectly. When you trust in the Lord, you can breathe again. You can sleep at night. You can face uncertainty with peace because your confidence isn't in circumstances — it's in Him.
You may see an uncertain future / He sees a story already written with love
You may see your limited resources / He sees His unlimited provision
You may see reasons to worry / He sees reasons to trust
Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.
Your peace isn't found in having all the answers.
It's found in knowing the One who does.
