Whether for your own a.m. delight or to usher friends in on a brisk morning, a home coffee bar not only frees up countertop space, but it also makes impromptu hospitality a cinch (and who doesn’t need that these days?).
Ready to be up, brewing and sipping in no time? Here’s how:
• Choose a nook. Think outside your kitchen’s traffic flow but somewhere that’s near the hustle and bustle. An underused hall closet, a too-small pantry, or a bare bakers’ rack make excellent candidates.
• Gather the goods. Here’s what you’ll need: coffee maker, coffee beans, grinder, mugs, spoons, napkins, sugar and bowl, creamer, cinnamon, a tray, and containers to organize it all.
• Add some flair. Put your touch on your new space—photos, chalkboard, tongue-in-cheek signs, and season-inspired decor get you started.
• Secure the treats. When you know friends are headed over, add store-bought or homemade sweets and treats to your coffee bar. Display them on a cake stand for that coffee shop feel.
All this coffee talk has me cravin’ a piping-hot cuppa joe—who’s with me? Cheers! Have a great week, friends! ☕️
