RESURFACING WORK AT THE SASHABAW/WALDON ROAD INTERSECTION EXPECTED TO START NOV. 2

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to begin resurfacing work on the Sashabaw/Waldon Road intersection in Independence Township beginning Nov. 2.
During the work, the intersection will remain open to traffic with flag control directing traffic. Motorists can expect delays and should seek an alternate route if possible.
The work expected to be complete approximately Nov. 15.
The resurfacing work is funded by Independence Township and RCOC.
The Sashabaw/Waldon Road intersection carries approximately 37,000 vehicles daily. The work is being done by Ace Saginaw Paving Company of Flint.
