Real estate agents can fill in and negotiate purchase agreements. However, preparing legal documents outside of basic practice, like Lady Bird Deeds for clients, is unauthorized. Doing so for yourself is fine, but for others, it's a no-go zone. Know the limits.

September 28th, from 1-3pm, our Caitlin Lesczcynski will teach participants about the foreclosure process, but most importantly how to help clients sell a home during the redemption period. She will cover how properties can be sold during and after a sheriff sale along with the differences between a Mortgage foreclosure and a tax foreclosure. She will also have a brief discussion on market trends with foreclosures. Don't miss it! This is a NOCBOR event, free for members, $20 for non-members, and offers 2 hours of continuing education. Recently, Legacy Title was a sponsor- amongst other great companies- at the NOCBOR golf outing that raised money for a very special cause, Camp Casey.
Camp Casey is a Michigan nonprofit that provides horseback riding programs and support to children with cancer and their families. 🐎Their mission is to spread the healing power of horses and foster positive family bonding, enpowerment, and community support. What a wonderful cause!
Here at Legacy Title, what we do goes far beyond title insurance and closings. We feel honored when we get to participate, donate, sponsor, and be involved in our communities and make an impact.
Our own Stacey had the privilege of visiting the facility and meeting with the staff and the founder, Molly. The gratitude and appreciation was felt all around and left a real impact for all of those involved!

Karlee has been part of the Legacy Title family for 3 years, and we’ve loved watching her grow along the way! She started with us as a Pre-Processor and is now absolutely killing it in her new role as a Funder!
