Indiana August 2026 Housing Market Update

💲 Median sale price of $282,000.
That’s up 3% from a year ago, but down 1% from last month.

✅ There were 7,803 closed sales, down 5% year over year and down 9% from last month.

⬆️Inventory increased with 20,793 homes for sale, up 12% from a year ago and 7% from last month.

🏡 Homes also took longer to sell, with median days on market at 24 days, up 14% year over year and 14% from last month.
