I reached out when I saw her FSBO online — not to pressure her, just to offer professional guidance.

When it came time to handle the contract, timelines, and details, she needed support — and I helped get it to the closing table.

Every transaction looks different. The key is staying flexible and not getting stuck on what you thought it should be.

October 8, 2023 was the date of our first communication, according to my CRM. December 12, 2025 is when we finally signed. I like to track every encounter back to its source.

This buyer—who eventually became a friend—originally reached out about a listing I picked up while canvassing local businesses in Dover. At the time, I was searching for a buyer for a restaurant in Erin that was For Sale By Owner, which I later ended up listing. That restaurant sold… just not by me. And honestly, that part doesn’t matter.

What matters is that I’ve learned how to create meaningful, beautiful endings out of what once looked like dead ends.

Real estate isn’t glamorous or easy. Most people couldn’t do it. But when I finally make it to the closing table and trace the process backward, I’m always in awe of how connected everything is. Each year, my belief that both the good and the bad happen for a reason becomes stronger.

I know I don’t usually write long posts, and I’m trying to do better—especially with social media and keeping up with the world’s standards of “posting.” So I’m starting with honesty.

I genuinely love what I do. It’s so much more than selling houses—it’s actually pretty cool stuff. I may not sell mega deals, but I close consistently, and for me, that’s enough.

Closing out my third full calendar year with a deal that took 2 years, 2 months, and 4 days to come together is incredibly satisfying.

I’m here for it.💛
