MCACC has several independent-minded cats looking for placement as barn, shop, warehouse, garage, and property cats. While these cats may not be interested in being traditional house pets, they can make excellent working companions while helping naturally control rodents and other small pests.

Barn cats are adopted in pairs for just $20 and come:
- Spayed/neutered
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped
- Ear tipped

To help ensure success, working cat and TNR organizations recommend keeping barn cats in a secure acclimation space on the property for up to two weeks before release. Providing food, water, and shelter during and after this transition period helps cats become familiar with their new surroundings and encourages them to stay close to home.

Barn cats are adopted in pairs unless other resident cats are already present on the property.
