This weekend IS NOT about the barbecue or cold beer... IT IS NOT about sales at the mall… IT IS NOT about getting a paid holiday… IT IS NOT about a weekend at the beach. It is about THOSE WHO SACRIFICED.… SO YOU COULD HAVE a barbecue or a cold beer…. SO YOU COULD HAVE a sale at the mall… SO YOU COULD HAVE a paid holiday… SO YOU COULD HAVE a weekend at the beach.
There are many who have sacrificed so we can have these freedoms.

When you walk around your house and you see a 'Zebra' on the siding..... it probably means your siding is coming loose....

I had air in the water pipes. Checked the main meter and saw the water department put on a new meter.... Did you know the water department changes your meter after 1,500,000 gallons (yes that is 1.5 Million). We bought new and have lived here for 22 years. Wow!!!

Think about this on Veterans Day

Military Service is a Team Effort….. On this Veterans Day, you can thank the Veteran, but also thank the Spouse and Family…. From a Veteran's point of view... Look at it from this perspective… Being a Veteran is not that difficult to do. If you have never had any 1st hand experience with the military, you will probably not understand that being the Spouse of a service member is the Hardest Job In The Military….
Think about this (and you are all by yourself by the way)…. When is he/she coming home? …. my daughter's boyfriend is an asshole… my son is failing 4th grade…. the dog ate the cat and puked the cat on the sofa… The hose on the washing machine broke and flooded my house… someone ran into my car at Walmart... and BTW I burned dinner…
And all of this… with the question that is always in the back of their mind… IS He/She even coming home???? So on Veterans day take an extra moment to Thank that Spouse also…. It Is a Team Effort..
