🏡 3 Myths That Stop People From Buying Their First Home
I hear these all the time, and they keep many future homeowners on the sidelines longer than necessary.
❌ Myth #1: You Need 20% Down Many loan programs allow qualified buyers to purchase with much less down. In some cases, there may even be down payment assistance programs available.
❌ Myth #2: Your Credit Has To Be Perfect You don't need an 800 credit score to buy a home. Different loan programs have different requirements, and many buyers qualify sooner than they think.
❌ Myth #3: It's Cheaper To Keep Renting Rent payments build your landlord's equity. A mortgage payment may help you build your own equity while creating long-term wealth through homeownership.
The biggest mistake I see isn't having questions—it's assuming the answer is "no" without exploring your options.
