Many people ask me what’s the secret? I don’t talk personal much but here it is: In December of 2014 I was T-Boned in a car accident that today I would say was one of my greatest blessings….sounds crazy.
My head busted the windshield I had a concussion. My left leg I had to have surgery on and was in and out of physical therapy hung in contraptions and equipment for 3 years trying to learn to walk again. I was on crutches for 3 years. I had to crawl up steps. Life was not easy. And my Orthopedic Surgeon told me I would never walk again without a limp and I would never run again…….I was determined to overcome my obstacles.
Many people told me to just accept it, get on disability, live with it….I just heard noise.
It was not easy, took several years but it taught me about determination, consistency, mindset, and patience…..that car accident today I see as one of my greatest blessings.
I run everyday. I walk straight as an arrow. I am grateful to have all I have. I thank god for the small things like a roof over my head, food, my health, my family & friends, and so on.
I’m grateful, determined, and blessed to do what I am passionate about each day even when it’s hard.
I tell this so if anyone is in a “season” BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and keep pushing to be better!
I am grateful to everything and everyone that has come into my like to help me achieve these rankings. I truly am honored.
