🏡 Johnston County Market Update: May 2026

Johnston County continues to show why it's one of the fastest-growing markets in our region.

With 364 homes sold and 379 new pending contracts in May, buyers and sellers are staying active as we head into summer.

The average sales price remained strong at $391,759, demonstrating the continued value homeowners are seeing across the county.

What stands out most this month is demand. Nearly as many homes went under contract as closed, which is a positive sign for continued market activity in the months ahead.

With a mix of resale homes and new construction available throughout the county, Johnston County continues to offer opportunities for buyers at a variety of price points.
