We can't wait to see you at JWL's 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, Nov. 5. Proceeds from Touch-A-Truck will directly benefit Johnston County through the Junior Women’s League of Smithfield’s initiatives like the Johnston County Blessing Boxes (JWL) and Peanut Butter Buddies. Funds also support grants for other Johnston County non-profits to assist with the development of programs benefiting women and children. Because of the generosity from our sponsors, JWL has been able to award over $135,000 in Community Impact Grants since its inception in January 2016.

Please Help Us Fight Food Insecurities In Johnston County. Thanks!!!

The Junior Women’s League of Smithfield is working to fight food insecurity in Johnston County!

Blessing Boxes were designed by the Junior Women’s League of Smithfield for community members to anonymously donate or pick-up essentials like non-perishable food items and toiletries during their time of need.

We encourage community members to drop off donations at the Blessing Boxes to help keep them stocked for those in need.
​
🥫🥫Suggested donations include non-perishable food items like canned goods, boxed meals, sugar, flour, pasta, vitamins, canned milk, peanut butter, bottled water, condiments, pickles, etc. Hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine products, soap, cleaning supplies, sunscreen, deodorant, q-tips, toilet paper, diapers, tissues and band aids are also great donations for the Blessing Boxes.
