We’re wrapping up our STL Summer Series with one of the most iconic spots in St. Louis: Grant’s Farm. If you want to catch the best version of it before the season ends, head over for one of their Summer Nights events.

On Friday and Saturday nights in August, the Bauernhof courtyard stays open late with live music, food trucks, and a drone light show over the property. It’s one of the best ways to spend a late August evening in St. Louis.

Another STL summer favorite is the Soulard Farmers Market!

Located just south of downtown, it’s the oldest operating public market west of the Mississippi, running in the historic Grand Hall since 1929.

While the market is open Wednesday through Saturday year-round, Saturday morning is when all 140+ vendor stalls are fully open. On a busy Saturday, you'll find a mix of fresh produce, locally sourced meats from multi-generational butcher shops, fresh-baked goods, and specialized spice stalls.

Another STL summer favorite is the Art Museum 🎨

Sitting at the top of Art Hill in Forest Park, it’s one of the best ways to beat the mid-summer heat or a stormy day for a few hours. They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours until 9:00 PM on Fridays. They even have a restaurant attached — E&E have had many lunch meetings there!

General admission to the main galleries is entirely free every day, and there is plenty of parking.

This week, we’re highlighting a walking food tour through The Hill. It’s one of the best ways to experience the culinary history of St. Louis’s historic Italian neighborhood. 🇮🇹

These guided walking tours typically last 2-3 hours and cover iconic local stops. Instead of trying to choose just one restaurant, you get to sample signature items across multiple locations—including authentic toasted ravioli, thin-crust pizza, hot salami sandwiches from local delis, and fresh gelato.

Next on our list of STL Summer favorites is Ballpark Village ⚾

Located right across from Busch Stadium, it is the best spot for pre-game and post-game food and drinks.
The multi-level complex has several restaurants, including Cardinals Nation, Budweiser Brew House, Sports & Social, and Salt + Smoke. Aside from sitting down for a meal, you can catch pre-game broadcasts on the 40-foot LED screen, play arcade and patio games, or visit the team museum to see St. Louis baseball history.
