Market Monday: April 2026

Spring momentum is fully underway across our markets, and the numbers are showing it.

Inventory continues to grow across Wake, Johnston, and surrounding counties, creating more opportunity while keeping home values strong.

🔹 Wake County saw a significant jump in activity with 1,561 homes closed and average prices climbing to $584,934
🔹 Johnston County reached 396 closings, one of the strongest months so far this year
🔹 Wilson, Nash & Franklin Counties continue to expand with rising inventory and steady pricing

One of the biggest shifts this month is speed. Days on market dropped across the region, showing buyers are moving with confidence as more homes hit the market.

More inventory, strong pricing, and faster movement is exactly what we want to see heading deeper into the spring market.
