🎸🏚Our contractor literally rocked my world...installing a beam does that on so many levels! We wanted part of one wall to come down and to open the entry to the dining by two feet. What a difference!! For reference, the last shot is one of the pics we took when touring the house that we fell in L❤️VE with. Seeing those pictures, I can see why everyone thoughts we were nuts! 🐿

I hated to do it, but we had to part with the original doors. I was more than happy to finally swap out the exterior lights and thanks to a handy hubby, we were able to modernize the railing by removing the decorative elements that were a little to fussy for us. The light brought in by the glass in the doors has been a huge added bonus (even if the kids were blamed for the first few weeks for leaving the door open 😆🤷🏻‍♀️)!

Last November 8th I was so excited to share our idea to host our friends family outside for Thanksgiving... little did I know I was a year early for a trend that was forced on them and are so over at this point. ⭐️ Don’t let the current situation take away from the fun of the holidays! The magic of the holidays is about creating a space to make your guests feel welcome and sharing an enjoyable experience together - no matter the setting. Some helpful tips for outside hosting: 1. Throw blankets that are easily accessible for all your guests; 2. Stemless wine glasses wobble more than tip than traditional stemmed wine glasses 🙌🏻; and 3. Don’t be afraid to hang art, use real linens, and load up the pillows. It is a little more clean up but the experience will be worth it. ❤️
