Sometimes a SOLD sign represents so much more than one real estate transaction. This one started nearly four years ago.

I first sat down with these sellers in 2022. At the time, we weren’t talking about simply putting their Lake Kachess home on the market. We looked at the bigger picture—their Bellevue home, their Palm Springs property, and what they wanted the next several years of their lives to look like.

That early planning meeting gave us the opportunity to game-plan: What do we keep? What do we sell? In what order? And how do we prepare now so we're ready when the timing is right?

Fast-forward to this spring. 🌲

Working around the sellers’ travel schedules, we began tackling the small repairs, maintenance and preparation that would make this beautiful Lake Kachess home shine when it was time to introduce it to the market.

And when we launched—we launched with force.

🏡 We held one of the most well-attended open houses of the season.
✨ Buyer interest was strong.
📄 An early offer came in, but ultimately we couldn't reach an agreement.

And then…we waited.

Two weeks later, everything changed.

Sometimes real estate isn't about taking the first opportunity in front of you.

Sometimes it's about preparation. Sometimes it's patience. And sometimes it's simply about timing.
