Join the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Bay Area Houston Network for an exciting evening of fashion, connection, and community at our Rodeo Fashion Show—the perfect way to kick off rodeo season as we head into the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

Hosted at Whiskey River Dance Hall, this high-energy event will feature a rodeo-inspired fashion show with live models, showcasing Western style with a modern twist. Attendees will enjoy a fun, social atmosphere while learning more about the value and benefits of Women’s Council membership.

Announcing Our 2026 President-Elect: Stephanie Palmer

We are honored to announce Stephanie Palmer as the 2026 President-Elect of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Bay Area Houston.

Stephanie brings a blend of resilience, purpose, and deep service to her work. A Central Texas native, she built her real estate career on connection, relationship-building, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve homeownership. With experience spanning Oil & Gas, interior design, and real estate, she combines creativity with practical knowledge—offering a thoughtful, client-centered approach to our industry.

Over the past two years, Stephanie has walked through tremendous personal adversity, overcoming multiple injuries, and challenges that would have stopped many. Instead, she chose to rise. Through faith, determination, and a commitment to grow, she launched a company, began writing a book, strengthened her real estate career, and stepped forward into leadership. Her story is one of grit, grace, and the unwavering belief that purpose is forged through perseverance.

Stephanie is known for her heart for community, her love of architecture and design, and her ability to bring people together. Family-oriented and grounded in faith, she is passionate about serving the diverse and vibrant Bay Area Houston region—where sandy beaches, city life, and close-knit neighborhoods all intersect.

As 2026 President-Elect, Stephanie will help guide our Network into a year focused on leadership development, collaboration, and member value. Her vision, commitment, and lived experience will be an asset to our leadership team and to every member of our Network.

It is an honor and a privilege to introduce to you the 2026 President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Bay Area Houston, Kara Taylor.

Kara Taylor is a true leader in our industry. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate and construction, she brings a powerful mix of expertise, passion, and heart to this role.

Throughout her career, Kara has excelled not only as a REALTOR®, but also as a mentor and advocate. She leads the Local2Global Real Estate Group brokered by eXp Realty and has deep experience in residential sales, new construction, global real estate and team building.

As a designated leader in our community, Kara holds the PMN, CIPS, and ABR designations. She is deeply committed to building relationships, educating others, and strengthening our network through her work within Women’s Council, as well as in her mentoring of fellow agents.

Outside of real estate, Kara’s personal life is a testament to her values. She and her wife (and business partner), Jamie, are raising a large, vibrant family of seven children, three grandchildren and share a love of travel and adventure — especially when it involves water.

Under Kara’s presidency, we look forward to a year filled with growth, collaboration, and inspired leadership for the Bay Area Houston Women’s Council Network. As we celebrate her stepping into this role, we are already energized by the momentum she brings and the exciting direction she will lead us in throughout 2026.

That excitement continues as we anticipate her introduction of the 2026 Governing Board this December, followed by our 2026 Installation and Calendar Reveal in January. These upcoming milestones mark the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic and meaningful year for our network.
