It's time for your weekly !

You just got the call a buyer wants to see your home tomorrow! Don't panic. You don’t need a week to get your home ready for a showing. If you are short on time, focus only on what the buyer’s eyes will hit first.
Follow this "Emergency Prep" list to get your home ready in a flash:

• The "Clean Surfaces" Sweep: Clear every single thing off your kitchen and bathroom counters. Put the toaster and the toothbrushes in a basket and hide them in a cupboard! Empty counters make your home look huge.

• The Fresh Air Fix: Open a few windows for 10 minutes to get the "lived-in" smell out. Then, light one simple, neutral candle (like vanilla or linen).

• The Lighting Trick: Turn on every single light in the house and open all the blinds. A bright home always sells better than a dark one!

• The "Floor Clear": Grab a laundry basket and toss in any shoes, toys, or mail sitting on the floor. Throw the basket in your car trunk and take it with you when you leave for the showing!
