Inspected this house yesterday and you notice the dip in the roof when you pull up. The attic framing should have had collar ties installed to help keep the roof aligned properly. Suspending a heavy Air Handler from the ceiling is compromising the integrity of the roof system. Yikes

Inspected this little beauty .group the other day for a single mother who’s a first time home buyer. She was nervous and stressed out about everything since it’s a scary adventure to handle by yourself. Find yourself a good home inspector who can explain the difference between a serious defect and something that goes on the simple Honey Do List. Not every defect costs hundreds or thousands of dollars and are dealt with breakers. Your inspector should be able to explain this to you during the inspection to help educate you. Personally that’s my most favorite part of a home inspection.
