This one was not all sunshine and rainbows, but it was worth every step.

Huge congratulations to my seller, Kim, on closing on her longtime Florida home and starting a beautiful new chapter in Tennessee 🤍

Kim and I met years ago when she called me after seeing my sign in her neighborhood to sell her mom’s home. That one sold quickly and smoothly, and over the years we stayed casually in touch. Earlier this year, she reached out again, this time to sell her home so she could move closer to her son, daughter-in-law, grandbaby, and soon-to-be second grandbaby 🍼💕

We did all the right things.
The home was absolutely gorgeous.
The prep was on point.
The marketing was dialed in.

And then… the market had other plans.

We went under contract quickly, only to have first-time buyers get cold feet and walk away. Back on the market we went. Showings stayed steady, offers came and went, weeks turned into months… and still no finish line in sight.

Meanwhile, Kim had already:
✔️ Bought land in Tennessee with a wonderful agent I referred her to
✔️ Placed a beautiful home
✔️ Moved closer to family
✔️ Fully embraced grandma life

All while that Florida house just would. not. sell.

Then, just before Christmas, we finally got the offer she couldn’t refuse…cash and a quick close. 🎁

There were a few bumps (and yes, I may have earned a couple more gray hairs), but the best part? Kim stayed relatively stress-free…exactly how it should be.

We closed days before Christmas, and honestly… that felt like the ultimate gift.

The biggest win in all of this? Kim started as a client and ended as a true friend.

Over the last six months, we shared more life updates than I can count…my back surgery, family changes, a new home build, pregnancy announcements, ultrasound photos, big moves, and everything in between. I talked to her more than some family members during this time. 😅

Kim, I am SO incredibly happy for you and so grateful you trusted me through this long, winding journey. Wishing you nothing but happiness, sweet moments with your growing family, and the very best in this next chapter 🤍
