LAUNDRY ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY HELENE

This morning, the City has set up a full-service laundry facility available for impacted residents, located at Allendale United Methodist Church (3803 Haines Rd. N). This facility will allow you to wash and dry your clothes.

The facility will be open 24/7 until needed and staff will be there to assist from 7 am - 7 pm.

Thank you so much so Allendale United Methodist Church for lending their space for recovery.

City crews will soon start removing debris from Hurricane Helene. Crews will do multiple citywide sweeps and residents should expect debris to be collected no sooner than Oct. 7.

❗️IMPORTANT: Take photos and videos of flood damage, including structural and personal property damage on the inside and outside of your home, before discarding items. Your insurance adjuster and/or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will need evidence of the damage to prepare your claim.
