The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for our area through Tuesday evening, with heat index values approaching 100°. Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day.

Please take precautions during this heat event:
💧 Stay hydrated
❄️ Limit prolonged outdoor activity when possible
👵 Check on elderly neighbors and relatives
🐾 Ensure pets have shade and water
🚗 Never leave children or pets in vehicles

Basically, if opening your front door feels like walking into a hair dryer… the advisory is working.
