Some closings are so much more than signing papers and handing over keys.

This one involved move, coordinating timelines, a home-sale contingency, closings that had to line up, school schedules, moving logistics, plenty of details behind the scenes—and a few hurdles along the way.

We worked hard, stayed patient, adjusted when we needed to, and kept everything moving toward the same goal: getting this family HOME. 🏡

One of my favorite parts of real estate is knowing that I get to be just a small stepping stone in someone else’s journey. I truly believe God puts certain people in our paths for a reason, and I’m so thankful He allowed me to be part of this chapter for such a wonderful family.

One of my favorite parts of real estate is watching clients become friends — and sometimes feel more like family. 🤍

🏡 Buying a home in Upstate South Carolina doesn’t mean finding a perfect house.

I asked Jodi one question yesterday: “What’s ONE thing every buyer should know?”

Her answer was such a good reminder: no home is perfect. Be realistic about what can be changed.

And here’s something many buyers may not realize — depending on the buyer, property, and loan program, renovation financing may be available to help finance the home AND certain improvements together.

So if you love the location and the bones of a house but the kitchen is dated, the flooring isn’t your style, or there are updates you’d want to make, don’t automatically cross it off your list.
