Aluminum Wire - I recently did a home inspection that has aluminum wire so I made my recommendations to the buyers agent that all connections need to be repaired with Alumicon connectors at the fans, light switches, and outlets and lights. She recently called me back and said the electrician said only the outlets need to be connectors, and I simply asked are they a licensed electrician. So I'm attaching this guideline from citizens insurance company don't get ripped off by unlicensed contractors.

Effective 8/1/2010 and as announced in Agent Technical Bulletin #005-10, the Uninsurable Properties section of the personal residential manual was amended to clarify that potentially hazardous electrical conditions include properties with aluminum branch wiring circuits.

Hey folks Bill Stewart your Central Florida home inspector so here is a situation I have never seen a condensate line for a attic installed AC unit dripping in to the bathtub. Wow this is why a 3rd party home inspection service is recommended who wants this dripping on them why they shower !!!!
