As with many villas in this area, they are not new, so it’s wrong to expect that. What you should expect is that they are kept well kept, with appropriate money spent when required.This villa provides that and it provided everything we needed for an 18 day stay at a very reasonable price.Its location is perfect, peaceful and relaxing, with a large pool area to have a cool swim and watch the gators and other wildlife.Disney is very close, and we managed to drive to Universal in less than 30 mins.Ideal for families, has a very helpful and responsive host, and has a British pub within walking distance.I would definitely return and have already recommended to family and friends.

One of our favourite markets is the Lake Eola market on a Sunday, it’s about a 40 minute drive to downtown Orlando, you may find a free parking space if you go early but plenty of parking lots close by, usually charge $10 .some fantastic stalls, we stopped at Pipos Latin food and had Venezuelan empanadas with beef, they come with a garlic dip, sat in the park area on seating. Watching the world go by. The empanadas were amazing, if you’ve never had them they are South American pasties. Had a wander round the lake had a coffee. Can thoroughly recommend it. It only needs to be a morning thing. 😎

Yesterday was travel day everything went smoothly until Terminal C in Orlando Airport. We had to wait 2 and half hours for our luggage 😡unbelievable, but eventually got suitcases , car hire , straight to Walmart for essentials then to our Villa. It was so nice walking in and smelt so nice, all cleaned and managed to get unpacked . Thank you Dan and Kelly for your hard work in looking after the place . A quick cuppa then to bed .

Pre travel day . For us we like to do overnight stay in a hotel near the airport time to chill and relax before the flight in the morning especially when we have a 3-4 hour drive to the airport. What do you like to do?

And here’s something interesting… despite being a meticulous planner, they always hire a car when they’re over there. 🚗

But guess what?! 😱 His driving licence expired last month!

Yep… no car hire for him! 😂🚫🚗

It might be worth all you lovely people who regularly hire cars abroad having a quick check of your own licence expiry date. It’s one of those things that could easily be overlooked, especially when you’re busy planning everything else for your holiday! ✈️🌴

I know I checked mine straight away! 😂🙈

Worth a quick look… before you arrive on holiday and have a very unexpected problem at the car hire desk! 🚗👀
