All of my clients are special, but this one hits really close to home.
This was one of those days that filled my heart with every emotion imaginable. I know God has a plan for each of us, and while I trust Him completely, yesterday was still hard. My mama sold the home we’ve called home since the 1980s. While I am truly so happy for her and this new chapter in her life, saying goodbye to that house is harder than I ever imagined.
That home holds more than 40 years of memories. It’s where I brought all of my babies home as newborns. It’s where we gathered for birthdays, holidays, family dinners, laughter, tears, and all the little moments that became the memories I’ll cherish forever. So much life was lived within those walls.
The beautiful part the silver lining is that my mama’s wonderful friend, Janet, bought the house. It gives me so much comfort knowing it’s going to someone who already loves it and will fill it with new memories while cherishing the ones that came before.
As I look ahead, I’m choosing to trust God’s timing and His plan. I’m thankful for every memory that home gave us, and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for all of us in this next chapter. The message below was shared by my Buyer, one of my favorite people. I love happy endings. I love my job.
