Fla. Cities Named to List of Top 20 Suburbs
Florida is no stranger to “best” lists, with all it has to offer. Two cities recently gained attention from HGTV for being among the top suburbs in the U.S.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two Florida cities
– Boca Raton and Wesley Chapel –
have been named as one of the top 20 suburbs in the U.S., according to a new list from HGTV and Suburban Jungle.

The ranking highlights suburbs that offer a mix of space, amenities, and access to major metro areas.

Boca Raton was noted for its proximity to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, as well as beach access. The report also pointed to the city's parks, lively downtown, and cultural amenities

Wesley Chapel was cited as a growing community close to beaches, shopping malls and theme parks. It also is home to the large Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex, which regularly hosts basketball, volleyball and gymnastics tournaments.

What do you all think?? 🤔

Baby boomers aren’t “refusing” to help the housing market.

They’re just responding to the numbers.

If you bought a house decades ago for a fraction of today’s prices, paid it off, and now sit on a huge pile of equity, why would you trade that for a smaller house at a much higher price and a 6.5% mortgage?

That’s the part a lot of people miss.

People keep talking like older homeowners are selfish for not selling.

But for many of them, staying put isn’t greed.
It’s common sense.

And that creates a real problem for everyone else.

Low inventory stays low.
Starter homes stay scarce.
Younger buyers keep fighting over a limited supply of homes, which keeps prices elevated.

This isn’t just a housing story.
It’s incentive math.

When moving feels like a financial downgrade, people don’t move.
