#2 : More Options for Your Next Move. Housing inventory has grown mostly due to mortgage rates cooling off the peak frenzy of buyer demand. Therefore - this could benefit you by reducing competition. Also, home sale contingencies are becoming normal again. As a few months ago - it was too competitive to even keep that in an offer.
#3 : Your Equity Has Grown in Record Amounts. The home price appreciation that we have seen over the past few years has been the highest in history. This means that your equity gives you a substantial cushion that you are able to leverage for your next home.
