Congratulations to my buyers on locking in this awesome home in Old Brooklyn. We went to view the home within hours of hitting the market, tons of showings happening back to back. I knew before we even got to the second floor that it was the perfect house for their family. They decide to make an offer on the spot, of course in the background a deadline is being set for multiple offers. We submit a super aggressive and strong offer. There was one term that the competing offer had an advantage over us. My clients weren’t willing to waive that term. Ultimately, the seller accepts another offer. Of course, they are bummed. Fast forward 5 days and I get a call that the deal has reached a hiccup and we are back in the running. I call my clients, give them the news and we come to terms. The best part (other than them getting their dream home) - they saved thousands of dollars and did not have to waive a term they felt strongly about. 👏🏽 sometimes waiting works out and it just proves that what is really meant for you will always come to you.
