Chipotle Mexican Grill is rolling out its “Recipe for Growth” strategy with new equipment, menu innovation, and more locations. The quick service Mexican chain plans to open 350 locations this year and has already opened 49 across the U.S. and Canada. Same-store sales and traffic are up by about 2.3%, which CEO Lyle Tick credits to operational improvements and menu innovation, such as the $13 Pizookie Meal Deal and seasonal Pizookies. Panda Express is growing in Columbus! This month, the brand opened a new location in northwest Columbus, specifically the Dublin market, at 2750 Summer Drive, marking its 13th restaurant in the Central Ohio market. More locations are already on the way, with new restaurants under construction at 3947 S. High Street in Great Southern and 3721 Fishinger Boulevard in Mill Run.
