Two of three properties ready to go. The last rental will go live online June 01, 2026. This one was my personal home through the loss of my husband, multiple floods, 2 major renovations and lifting it from 8 foot stilts to 15 feet. I hope the folks that visit it enjoy it as much as I have.

Lots of downed branches from a rough storm. Rentals continue in Simply Red and Camp Cameron is almost ready for the market. Need to replace a pane of glass in a window. Never done that kind of work before.

This time of year its all about changing sheets and cutting grass. Restocking kitchen items and paper products. It is not difficult work but it keeps us busy. Second cabin is almost done and ready to rent.

Gearing up for the start of rental season, May 01, 2026 in Groesbeck, Lake Limestone property. It is a bigger property than the cabins in Romayor and it is 2 hours away. The water is low right now but rain is expected over the next two weeks. All the long weekends are starting to book.

Rental season is almost in full swing. Two rentals are ready and booking fast. One will be ready May 1st. The guests this year have been great. Dock repairs have been completed. Still have a gutter issue to deal with and getting internet up and running. Always something when you own a house.

Gearing up for rental season. So far no frozen pipes. Restocking food items. Added heated blankets. Considering propane bbqs but not sure I want to break my back carrying tanks up the stairs. Adding upgraded internet to the cabins. I hope it pays off.

Currently using starlink for the Cleveland cabins. Just picked up the mobile version for other locations. Cant wait to see how it works. In the process of furnishing my old cabin to rent it out. Requests for Valentines rentals.

This cold spell is not done yet. So far so good and no broken pipes. Rentals are scheduled to begin mid February. Refurnishing 403 CR 2869, Cleveland 77327 for summer rentals.

Water lines drained and blown. Faucets open, hot water heaters turned off all the gutters cleaned. Let's hope it's enough.
