There is something exciting but also somber about harvest day. These turkeys have been at the center of attention for months at . The constant clucking and gobbling is always entertaining. Or to ponder the curious nature of the turkey...to watch them and wonder what they are doing as hundreds of them just march off to explore a different corner of the farm.

Those moments remind us that these are not simply a product we can sell, but that these animals are living things. We are grateful for our customer base who also believes in such a life for the animals and supports us, giving us the chance to raise them ethically and healthily.

Today, we started hauling them in for the morning harvest tomorrow. Sunday they will be going home with many of you.
