When you've lived at a place for a long time, you start to notice things you probably wouldn't notice as a guest. Which rooms get the best light at different times of day. When the lake is unusually quiet. When the wind has shifted and the water looks completely different. Every so often, something catches our attention that we've probably seen a hundred times before—but somehow never really seen. That's one of the things we love about Takundewide. This morning it was all whitecaps. Other days just that particular pale morning light and the Adirondacks reflected in the water.
