National Girls Night Out looked a little different for us - we stayed in.

Pajamas on, great food out, and the girls brought all the good stories. We played senior-friendly spin the bottle but our version is all fun questions. We laughed until our cheeks hurt. Let's just say some secrets were spilled! Couldn’t have asked for a better night in! ✨

We had a wonderful lunch Thursday at Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant!
We had so much fun looking up the Chinese zodiac for each resident, enjoying amazing food, and sharing great company and lots of laughs.

We spent the afternoon at the Lorenzo Cultural Center for their 9/11 exhibit and the documentary "9/11 Inside the Pentagon."

25 years ago today. It's hard to believe it's been that long.

The exhibit is so moving — especially the stories from inside the Pentagon that we don't always hear. It reminds you of the lives lost, the bravery of the first responders, and how much that day changed all of us.

Yesterday was National School Picture Day, so we had a little fun reminiscing about our own school days!
We put our knowledge to the test with a game of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?", shared our old school pictures, and each gave some advice for students starting the new school year.
It was such a fun way to laugh together and remember where we all started. Wishing all our students a fantastic year ahead!
