Just an FYI. On April 6th Michigan will be doing away with the "what's his is hers and what's her's is hers" law and it will come to an end. Dower Rights will be no more. This is extremely important to wives who are not on legal documents with their husbands ... especially the deed to the family home. For more info, contact me ASAP.
